Swimming Federation of India takes its Open Water Swimming Trials on 11th May 2022 at VV Sagara, Chitradurga, Karnataka organized by Karnataka Swimming Association under the auspices of Swimming Federation of India in association with Dept. of Youth Empowerment & Sports & District Administrative ,Chitradurga District. The above trial will be a qualifier meet for the forthcoming WORLD OPEN WATER SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP to be held in Budapest in June 2022. FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships 2022

The FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships 2022 will see more than 150 athletes from over 50 countries compete in Beau Vallon, Seychelles (SEY). The competition of 5km, 7.5km and 10km swim will be organized on a 2,500m lap course. Swimmers must swim four (4) laps for 10km, three (3) laps for 7.5km and two (2) laps for 5km. 4 x 1.5km mixed relay will be on a 1,500m lap course, left shoulder turn.
