INFORMATION
Black Sea Eregli 3rd International Open Water Swimming Race, which will be held for the first time, in cooperation with Ereğli Municipality and Istanbul Yıldızlar Swimming Sports Club. The race will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at 10:00, at the Black Sea Ereğli coast amphitheatre.
COURSE IMAGE
It will be swimming as 1.5K – 3K – 5K.
Sea water is expected to be around 25 degrees.
TIMINGS
· It will start on 01.05.2022 and end on Friday, 17.06.2022 at 17:00.
· ALL athletes must be in the race area by 08:00.
· Final registration and numbering will start at 08:30.
· Before the numbering process of the participants, their bodies should not be lubricated in any way LIKE cream, petrolatum, oil etc. should not be used.
· Briefing about the race will be given at 9.30.
· The race will start at 10:00 and
· The right to change the time and track according to the weather conditions, belongs to the committee.
· For 1.5K – 3K – 5K, the time is limited to 150 minutes.
Categories and Awards:
There are 14 categories for women and men.

All the athletes who complete the race will be given a Commemorative Medal and a Certificate of Participation.
A trophy will be given to the athletes who have ranked according to their age category.
Bags will be distributed to the athletes before the Technical Meeting.
Bonnets will be delivered by the Referees during Numbering.
Towels and Commemorative Medals will be presented to the athletes when they get out of the water.

15:00 Technical Meeting and Material Distribution at KDZ.Eregli Science and Art Center ( BİLSEM ) will be done. Transportation will be provided from Keleşler Hotel, Etaş Hotel, Ahos Hotel by shuttle.
15:15 Bag and Chip distribution
16:30 Kadriye YAŞA and Pakize KESKİN – Presentations on the importance of psychology in swimming
17:15 Prof.Dr.Korkut ULUCAN – Importance of Genetics in Sports and Its Importance in Swimming Sports presentation
18:00 Technical Meeting
19:00 KDZ.Eregli Beach, Dinner at Municipal Facilities
21:00 Athletes will be transported from Kelesler Hotel, Etaş Hotel, Ahos Hotel by shuttle.

08:00 License and Health Certificate check in the race area
08:15 Numbering
09:30 Numbering will end.
09:45 1.5K – Briefing on 3K and 5K Tracks
10:00 Race start will be given. The start for all tracks will be given at the same time. 12:30 The race will end for all tracks. Athletes remaining in the water will be taken to the boat.
