AITN Bangkok along with Thammasat University has the honour and pleasure of inviting the athletes, officials, and supporters from Aquatic Sports Unions, Aquatic Sports Associations, Clubs, Colleges, Schools, and Individuals from all Asian Countries to the AITN Bangkok Asian Open Schools Invitational (AOSI) Aquatics Championships, scheduled to be held from March 3–7, 2023, at the Aquatic Center of Thammasat University Bangkok, Thailand.
OBJECTIVE
To develop and raise the level of swimming proficiency of young talents, those moral and physical qualities that come from fair competition in the Aquatic sports, and to promote international respect, friendship, bond, goodwill, peace, and clean environments.

The Technical Meeting will be held at the competition venue on 3rd March 2023 at 07:30 a.m.
All Team Managers and Judges are required to attend.

Relay Events*
COMPETITION SCHEDULE: SWIMMING
DIVING TECHINAL DETAILS
Maximum of five athletes per event per team in any given age group excluding relays. Each athlete can
enter up to a maximum of three (diving) and seven (swimming) individual events excluding the relays.
Relay teams will be finalized on the day of the competition.
Events with 3 entries or less shall be exhibition events and no medals will be awarded. However,
Certificates of Participations will be given to each participant. This result will not be counted towards the
overall medal tally.
WATER POLO TECHINAL DETAILS
AGE:
19 years and under (Born in 2003 and above)
TEAM ENTRY:
Team for boys and girls may consist of 13 players, and five officials.
DRAWS:
Shall be held at the respective Managers Meeting.
CANCELLATION OF EVENT:
The event will be canceled if there are just 2 or less submissions before the deadline for Entries.
COMPETITION:
If no more than six teams participate, the competition will be played in a round robin format in one group
basis and the top two teams will face in the final round.
TEAM ENTRY
A School/Club/Country may enter maximum of 6 teams.

• 1 team for swimming boys
• 1 diving boys’ team
• 1 diving girls’ team
• 1 team for water-polo girls
• 1 team for water-polo boys
EVENT ENTRY FEES

ENTRY FEES AND REGISTRATION FEES
Entry Fees and the registration* fee of US$ 300 (NON-REFUNDABLE) per School/Club/Team must be paid on or before 6th January 2023.
*Note: please contact us, if you are an individual participant or a team with three (3) or less members.
- An invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, SWIFT Code, etc) will be issued.
- A confirmation letter with the invoice will be sent by e-mail.
CANCELLATION BY THE ORGANISER
The Organizing Committee of AOSI (Organizer) reserves the right to cancel or postpone the competition
and should it do so its sole liability shall be to refund all monies paid by the teams. In no circumstances
shall the Organizer be liable for any loss (including consequential loss) or damages.
Should the competition be canceled, postponed, change the venue or adversely affected by any cause out
of control of the Organizer including but not limited to pandemic outbreak, war, fire, national emergency,
the Organizer’s sole liability shall be to keep all monies paid by the teams for the future competition. In
no circumstances shall the Organizer be liable for any loss (including consequential loss) or damages.
AWARDS
- Medals for the first 3 positions will be awarded for each event
- Certificate of participation for each team member
- Trophies for overall best first 3 swimmers of Age Group U12 and above (boys and girls)
- Awards for Best Foreign Athlete: boy and girl (Swimming, Diving, Water Polo)
- Awards for Best Domestic Athlete: boy and girl (Swimming, Diving, Water Polo)
- Best Coach: boys and girls (Swimming, Diving, Water Polo)
- Separate Team Championships will be awarded as follows
Overall Swimming Championships: Champion, 1st and 2nd Runner-up Trophies
Overall Diving Championships: Champion, 1st and 2nd Runner-up Trophies
Overall Water Polo Championships: Champion, 1st and 2nd Runner-up Trophies
The Champion Teams will be declared on the following basis:
A. Total number of Gold medals
B. If there is a tie, to count the total number of Silver medals
C. If there is a tie, to count the total number of Bronze medals
D. If there is a tie, to count the total number of Records
VISA REQUIREMENTS
For more information on whether a Visa is needed for entry to the Kingdom of Thailand, please contact the Thai Embassy or High Commission in your country. AITN Bangkok will organize the documents needed for Visa with the Official Invitation letter upon the confirmation of the team participation.
