We are pleased to inform you that STATE SUB-JUNIOR, JUNIOR & SENIOR AQUATIC CHAMPIONSHIP- 2023-24
All swimming events of 400 m. and above will be held on Time Trials basis and 50’s, 100’s & 200’s will be conducted as heats and finals in the evening sessions. 4 x 100 Relay events will also be held in the evening session. 4 x 200 m. Relay events will be held in the morning session.
During the above Meet, State Sub-Junior, Junior & Senior Teams will be selected for the forthcoming 38th Sub-Junior National, 48th Junior National and 76th senior national Aquatic Championship.
The State Championship will be held in the following Age Groups in Swimming, Diving and Water polo events for Boys & Girls:

GP – III Boys & Girls: 11yrs (Born in the year 2012)

WATER POLO
The Water polo events for Junior & Senior will be held in both Boys & Girls and Men and Women sections, respectively.
ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE IN THE STATE SUB-JUNIOR, JUNIOR & SENIOR AQUATIC CHAMPIONSHIP – 2023-24.
a. All Competitors who participate in the above Competition shall be Registered Swimmers for the year 2023-24.
b. Only those Clubs who have renewed their affiliation for the year 2023-24 are permitted to send their entries.
c. Entry Fees of Rs. 100/- for Individual events (Swimming & Diving), Rs. 200/- for Relay events (Swimming) and Rs. 500/- for Water polo Team shall be sent along with the Entry Forms. (Defaulters will not be permitted to participate in the above Meet).
d. Entries should be sent to us by “on line” only. The invitation to send the entries on line will be sent to you shortly.
e. The Age Certificate duly signed by the Head of the Educational Institution ‘OR’ First Class Magistrate ‘OR’ Municipal Corporation must be submitted along with the Entry Forms.
DISCIPLINE DURING THE COMPETITION
a. Swimmers who produce wrong Birth Certificates (if proved) will be banned from further Competition.
b. Those Competitors who infringe the FINA RULES are liable for disqualification.
c. Referee’s decision shall be the FINAL.
d. Swimming events will be conducted with “ONE START”.
ENTRIES
a. Clubs are requested to send their entries as per enclosed Qualifying Timings. This is applicable for those Clubs who are sending multiple entries for each event. Otherwise, 2 entries can be sent without Qualifying Timings.
b. All the Entries of Swimming must reach the Hon’ Secretary, K.S.A. along with the Entry Fees on ‘OR’ before 24th may 2023.
c. All races of 400 m. and above events will be conducted only on TIME TRIAL BASIS and hence Clubs are requested to send proper timings of their swimmers to seed them properly.
d. All Clubs are required to send their entries before the last date to enable us to draw up the heats in advance for the smooth conduct of the Meet.
e. LATE ENTRIES AND & ENTRIES ON DECK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
f. As we are using meet manager software all entries have to be sent by online only. If any assistance required the clubs may contact Mr. Rohith Babu, SDO of K S A over phone No. 98444 62077.
g. Minimum THREE teams must be available for Water Polo championship else only selection trials will be conducted. If TWO teams are available only the winner position will be considered for merit certificate.
h. All Outstation Swimmers and Water polo Players are required to make own arrangements for their stay at Bangalore.
GUIDELINES FOR THE SELECTION OF THE TEAM FOR THE SUB-JUNIOR, JUNIOR AND SENIOR NATIONALS.
a. Selection is based on S.F.I. Qualifying Timings for Sub- Juniors, Junior & Senior. (Swimming & Diving)
b. Separate Relay trials for Freestyle will be conducted on required days of the Championship, to select the best relay team for the National Meet. However, any other stroke relay trial will be given only on request.
c. Selection for the senior team for Individual events will be based on 2 best timing from all the age group and fastest teams selected by the selection committee for the relay.
d. For Junior Relay Team, the Best Four Swimmers in each Group in all 100 m. & 200 m. relay events will be selected.
e. Selection Committee’s recommendation is FINAL in selecting the state team.
NOTE :-
All events of 400 m. and above including relays will be conducted on Time Trials basis 2. For all 50 m, 100m & 200m events, heats will be conducted in the morning session and Finals will be held in the evening session at 4.00 p.m. 3. Morning events will be held at 8.00 a.m. daily. 4. All 1500FS events will be held on 29th May 2023 at 4pm and 3rd June for Senior at 3.00pm at the competition venue.
