We are pleased to inform you that our Association will be conducting the XXI STATE SHORT COURSE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP at PET Aquatic Centre, PES College of Engineering Campus, Mandya from 6th to 9TH December 2022.
(THOSE WHO TAKE PART IN THIS CHAMPIONSHIP AND GET SELECTED MUST COMPULSORILY PARTICIPATE IN THE SOUTH ZONE AQUATIC CHAMPIONSHIP AND SHALL NOT WITHDRAW ON ANY GROUNDS).
Please Note:
Individual Medal winners at any SFI National championships 2022, will not be allowed to take part in this championship (Sub Junior, Junior, Senior and National Games)
The Selection will be held in the following Age Groups for Boys & Girls:-
AGE GROUPS ( SWIMMING ):-
GP – I Boys &Girls: 15, 16 & 17 yrs. (Born in the yrs. 2005,2006 & 2007)
GP – II Boys &Girls: 12, 13 & 14 yrs. (Born in the yrs. 2010, 2009 & 2008)
GP – III Boys & Girls: 10- 11yrs (Born in the year 2011-12)
The Medalist of any SFI National championship can take part in the Open Category.
All the 50mtr race in open group will be conducted in Skins format
ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE IN THE XXI STATE SHORT COURSE AQUATIC CHAMPIONSHIP –2022
a. All Competitors who participate in the above Competition shall be Registered Swimmers for the year 2022-23.
b. Only those Clubs who have renewed their affiliation for the year 2022-23 are permitted to send their entries.
c. Entry Fees of Rs. 100/- for Individual events, Rs. 200/- for Relay events shall be sent along with the Entry Forms. (Defaulters will not be permitted to participate in the above Meet)
d. All Competitors should have valid SFI UID. Failing his/hers entries will be cancelled.
e. All entries must be sent to our association “ON LINE” on ‘or’ before 1st December 2022.
DISCIPLINE DURING THE COMPETITION :-
a. Swimmers who produce wrong Birth Certificates (if proved) will be banned from further KSA Competitions.
b. Those Competitors who infringe the FINA RULES are liable for disqualification.
c. Referee’s decision shall be the FINAL.
d. Swimming events will be conducted with “ONE START”.
e. All Victory ceremonies will be held in the Evening Session. We request all finalists to be present for victory ceremony in the morning session without fail.
f. All 1500FS events will be held on 5th December 2022 at 5.00 P M at the competition venue.
g. Pool will be available for warm up from 2.30pm on 5th December 2022
WATERPOLO: – The Water polo Selections for juniors will be held in both Boys & Girls section. The Boys & Girls who are born on or after 1-1-2005 are eligible to participate. Selection trials dates will be announced shortly.
6.0. ENTRIES :-
a. GP I & II Junior Swimmers are required to send the entries only for their “BEST FIVE EVENTS” respectively as per S.F.I. Rules.
b. GP – III Sub-Junior are required to send the entries only for their “BEST FIVE” ONLY.
c. All races of 400 m. and above events will be conducted only on TIME TRIAL BASIS and hence Clubs are requested to send proper timings of their swimmers to seed them properly.
d. All Clubs are required to send their entries before the last date to enable us to draw up the heats in advance for the smooth conduct of the Meet.
e. LATE / CHANGE OF ENTRIES & ENTRIES ON DECK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
f. As we are using meet manager software all entries have to be sent by online only.
